Message from Mayor Bart Peterson

Improving the lives of the youngest members of our great city is one of the cornerstones of my administration. Throughout our community, there are dozens of organizations doing the important work of helping children, strengthening families and providing opportunities for kids to learn and grow in healthy ways. Success By 6 is an initiative that combines the outstanding work of these organizations into one cohesive effort to ensure that all children in our community enter school ready to learn and succeed.

Each of us - parents, grandparents, family members, caregivers, business people, everyone - plays a critical role in shaping our future based on the way in which we help children grow.
